Sotema 20L linen

This gorgeous Italian 38 count linen is used for Portuguese Whitework. It has a lovely weight, a beautiful close weave and is a high quality linen. Sotema 20L linen can also be used for any counted embroidery where evenweave linen is required, or surface embroidery where a high quality linen is required. (We can no longer get Graziano Pronto Ricamo linen, and this fabric is a perfect substitute.)

Pearl cotton

Pearl cotton 8 is used for Portuguese Whitework. Not surprisingly, the most common colour is white (blanc)! For those who enjoy a bit of colour also, there are five additional specific DMC colours which can be used - black (DMC 310), red (DMC 321), grey (DMC 415), beige (DMC 644), and blue (DMC 796).
