The Merezhka Poltavska hand towel features Merezhka Poltavska, which is drawn thread embroidery from the region of Poltava in Ukraine. It is sometimes also known as myreshka or myreschka.

The project has a band of embroidery with a geometric pattern of crosses and diamonds, at one end of the hand towel. It is an excellent introduction to merezhka with full step-by-step photographic instructions.
